About Richardson Metals, Inc.

Richardson Metals, Inc. began operations in 1980 to provide aluminum, aluminum extrusions, brass, copper, bronze, stainless steel, and plastics to Colorado area electronics metal users. Occupying only 4,500 square feet of rented warehouse space, Richardson Metals soon gained an excellent reputation for service and quality as a metal service center.

Success created a need for additional space and in 1984 Richardson Metals built a 14,400 square foot warehouse and office, which it still occupies today. Its products have been sold to such companies as Ampex, Digital Equipment, Hewlett-Packard, Kaman, Kurt Manufacturing, Maxcor, Texas Instruments, Western Forge, and more than 150 others. To many of these customers, Richardson Metals has been a “Just-In-Time” supplier.

To further the company’s growth and perceiving a demand for quality extruders in the Rocky Mountain region, Richardson Metals elected to develop in-house extrusion capability. Our chosen field of expertise was small to medium runs requiring machined-tolerance precision.

Richardson Metals was purchased in September 2018 by Rick Werner & John Tassone. Together they bring over 50 years of metals industry manufacturing expertise to Richardson Metals. In November 2020 Rick and John also acquired Accudyne Corporation and Accudyne Products (Maker of EZ-Pull – an automated bar puller for CNC machines), located in Englewood, Colorado.

Richardson Metals has earned a reputation of being able to provide low to medium volume precision machined tolerance shapes and has become a nationwide supplier of precision parts going into a wide variety of markets. Richardson Metals has also added two new 4-axis CNC machines for tight tolerance requirements. Richardson Metals reputation for service and quality is second to none in the industry. The Richardson Metals team, from sales engineering to die makers, take professional pride in providing a quality product look forward to working with you.
